Pour les fontaines d'une hauteur inférieure à 30 cm, une pompe de 260 l/h, voire moins, suffira amplement. Une fontaine de taille moyenne correspond aux modèles de table, au sol et muraux de moins de 95 cm de haut. Pour ces fontaines, la puissance de la pompe devra se situer entre 400 et 800 l/h. Si votre fontaine mesure plus de 30 cm, mieux vaut acheter une pompe plus puissante, pour être sûr que le débit est suffisant. La plupart des pompes ont un débit réglable, que vous ajustez en fonction de vos besoins. La pompe Beckett M200AUL16 pour fontaines moyennes proposée chez fontaine-interieur.fr a un débit de 740 l/h. Pour les fontaines murales et au sol plus imposantes, une pompe de 1000 à 1400 l/h sera nécessaire ; chez fontaine-interieur.fr,  vous trouverez la Beckett M350AUL16. Éclairage des fontaine d'intérieur

Beaucoup de nos fontaines sont équipées d'un système d'éclairage qui met en valeur le flux de l'eau qui s'écoule sur de magnifiques surfaces naturelles. Comme tout éclairage électrique, les ampoules finissent par lâcher ; mais elles sont disponibles dans n'importe quel magasin de décoration. Les informations qui suivent sont également disponibles dans le manuel d'utilisation de votre fontaine.

Pour les ampoules immergées : ampoule halogène de 10 watts, 12 volts (type JC) S3459
Pour les ampoules classiques : suivant les fontaines, une ampoule à large faisceau de 75 watts ou un spot de 25 watts.

Pensez à débrancher la fontaine avant de changer l'ampoule ! Il faut toujours être prudent lorsqu'eau et électricité sont alliées.

Si une ampoule standard grille ou éclate régulièrement, c'est peut-être parce que l'eau froide éclabousse sur l'ampoule chaude. Veillez à bien régler la fontaine pour que le courant d'eau soit régulier et que les éclaboussures soient minimes. Vous pouvez également ajuster le capot de l'ampoule pour que l'eau ne puisse plus l'atteindre. Il ne faut pas toucher la vitre d'une ampoule halogène, car nos doigts peuvent laisser des taches de gras qui endommagent la vitre, ce qui augmente le risque d'explosion. Si malgré ces réglages, les ampoules continuent à griller, essayez de les remplacer par d'autres ampoules d'intensité plus faible : remplacez une ampoule de 75 watts par une de 50.

Il vous faut maintenant mettre votre fontaine bien en valeur, pour qu'elle transforme votre intérieur. Si elle fera sans doute très bon effet d'elle-même, vous devriez peut-être songer à modifier la décoration environnante pour que la pièce devienne transcendantale. Installer votre fontaine

Une fois qu'elle vous a été livrée, vous n'avez plus qu'à suivre les instructions pour la monter et la mettre en route. Nul besoin de s'y connaitre en plomberie : l'eau circule en circuit fermé dans la fontaine, ce qui est plus économique et écologique. Si vous avez choisi une fontaine de table ou une fontaine au sol, vous n'aurez que très peu d'éléments à assembler et vous ne devriez rencontrer aucune difficulté. En ce qui concerne les fontaines murales, les fixer au mur ne sera pas plus compliqué que d'accrocher un grand tableau ; mais comme il s'agit d'appareils électriques, il ya quelques précautions à prendre.

Install a wall fountain

Run water

Once the fountain installed, it only remains to provide the necessary water. DO NOT OPERATE THE MACHINE LP, otherwise the pump would immediately overheat! Il peut arriver que la fontaine éclabousse plus que de normale ; si cela se produit, assurez-vous que :

•    La fontaine soit bien droite et stable
•    Le niveau d'eau soit suffisant pour que la pompe ne tourne pas à vide et qu'il se situe à au moins 1 cm du bord
•    Vous respectez les autres instructions du manuel d'utilisation.

Vous pouvez également disposer des pierres de rivières dans le bassin, ce qui atténuera le bruit et les éclaboussures.

Comment prolonger la durée de vie de votre fontaine

L'eau du robinet peut laisser des dépôts et entraîner le développement d'algues, surtout si la fontaine est en extérieur. Parfois, les clients déclarent que leur fontaine a une odeur étrange, qui est souvent le signe de la propagation d'une bactérie. Mais il existe des moyens d'éviter ce genre de problèmes, de garder la fontaine plus fraîche entre deux nettoyages, et au final de prolonger la durée de vie de votre fontaine.

Pour éviter que des dépôts ne s'accumulent dans la pompe et sur la surface de la fontaine, n'utilisez que de l'eau distillée, que vous trouverez en magasin pour un prix modique ; cette eau est beaucoup plus pauvre en minéraux que celle du robinet (le calcium et la chaux sont particulièrement durs à éliminer). Si vous préférez l'eau du robinet, utilisez un traitement de l'eau qui vise à éliminer les dépôts ; nous vous conseillons Protec, un produit naturel à base de phosphate organique qui prévient la formation de nouveaux dépôts tout en éliminant les dépôts et tâches existants. Une fois par mois, vous versez une goutte pour 4 litres d'eau, et votre fontaine gardera tout son éclat.

Pour empêcher le développement d'algues, nous vous conseillons Foundec, un produit organique lui aussi qui vous évite d'utiliser des agents chimiques nocifs et de frotter exagérément, ce qui pourrait abîmer la fontaine. Les polymères détruisent les algues sans nuire à l'environnement ; ce produit résiste à l'évaporation, à la chaleur et au soleil, et son efficacité est donc bien plus prolongée que celle des produits à base de cuivre et d'enzymes. De plus, sa formule est tellement concentrée qu'une dose minime fera effet pendant au moins une semaine.

Si dès l'acquisition, vous entretenez convenablement votre fontaine, vous n'aurez probablement jamais l'occasion de voir ces dépôts et algues se former, et vous prolongerez sa durée de vie.
